## Our candidates for Township Committee

The Township Committee is a five-member governing body elected at-large, so every member answers to the whole Township. It adopts the budget, passes ordinances, and chooses the mayor from among its members each January.

Candidate · Township Committee

### George Talarico

Republican · Full three-year term

An attorney and engineer who has lived in Morris Township for more than 25 years. George wants the true cost of new housing to schools, services, and infrastructure counted up front, stronger safeguards in the Abbey redevelopment agreement, and students taught how their local government works.

A physical therapist with more than 30 years in the field, much of it caring for older adults, and a Township resident for nearly 25 years. Republican · Unexpired term

A builder with 42 years in commercial construction, including running his own firm. John wants every department and expense reviewed for savings, no new debt, the senior bus and senior activity space put into service, and young residents brought onto Township boards.
